"You're some kind of different, Sam." Alex said, playing with the olive in his glass.
He brushed his free hand's fingertips over her knuckles, smirking when she fumbled to keep her drink still.

Her heart lept, more from his comment then his advance.
He wasn't wrong, she was different. But did it show?
She had spent much of her dressing time on make up and hair in hopes that the primping would pay off. But had it?
What if it did nothing to distract from what must have been an obvious flaw? What if oddity was simply something one carried, something that couldn't be covered with lip gloss and mascara?
What if-
All paranoia soon melted away as that gentle hand found a resting spot on her mid thigh.
"You're like... classic school girl or something."

Sam's cheeks were flushing and the heat was coming on fast.
He was making circles on her upper leg, getting ever higher, and it felt- well, new. She'd never gotten past much other than kissing in her brief sex life- not that time or circumstance ever permitted it to get anywhere near the sex portion. It wasn't like that was her goal, no. Sam wasn't like that. But it still, it would have been nice to at least have the option.
If it wasn't Dean stalking the Hell out of her, it was her father rolling up in the car, horn blaring. Then there came the talks.
The long, unsettling speeches that sent her running from the room in tears, guilty for things she hadn't yet done. For the things she wanted to do.
'Come on, snap out of the reverie.' She scolded herself. 'Quit being so awkward...'
Setting the cup down, she looked up at him under dark lashes.
"Is that bad?"

"No, no. It's cute." Alex said.
He gave her knee a squeeze.
"Like I said, you're different." He said, licking the corner of his mouth. "Different's nice."

She smiled a toothy smile, something she rarely let happen in public.
This had to be played right. Who knew when she'd get a chance again?
If Dean had his way after finally catching her, it'd be never.
"Then maybe you could show me around. You know..."
Her brows peaked just so, giving that smile a rather playful edge.
"Nice guy like you, new girl like me... I'd love to see where you camp."

Alex ran his palm on the lower side of her thigh, nodding in amusement.
He whipped the same wrist up, holding a finger up to the bartender, gesturing for the check.
"Garcon?" He teased.

She laughed, indifferent to the replacement of his hand.

~~~
"Hey, It's Sam. You know what to do."
"Sammy, it's Dean. I dunno if you got my last two calls or if you're screening me but... Call me back."
The Impala damn near screeched as he turned the corner, buring rubber, heading nowhere in particular.
Where the Hell did she go?
It's not like she knew the place well. Hell, she was on foot, there's no way she could've gotten too far for reception to reach.
She was ignoring him.
'...Maybe she's by the back roads.' he thought, doing all he could to keep his head clear and his focus on the road.
This wasn't like an average hunt.
There was no one to interview, no research to be done, no real pattern or signs he could use to understand where his target might be.
It was extremely too normal. Something as mundane as a run away, although far less dangerous, was too complicated for Dean to wrap his head around. Was he supposed to be even tempered? Or was it socially acceptable to completely lose it all over the next guy in a uniform of some kind?
Or... maybe it was finally time to call his father for help.
'How the Hell do the cops do this?' He thought, speeding down the road.
Sammy girl, sometimes fun with boys just isn't what it's cracked up to be. SERIOUSLY.
